The University of South Carolina Beaufort's baseball team dropped to a 6-6 record in the conference after Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, the #6 ranked team in the NAIA, sweeped the sandsharks in march 13's double header to claim victory in the series.

USCB struggled at the plate in their first of the two games, losing 2-0 with only four hits. Although losing 10-7 in the second game, Spencer Jackson, the conference leader in RBI's, managed two hits while senior outfielder R.J. Neil drove in two runs.

USCB now lies in sixth place in the conference but will be looking to bounce back to good form against Savannah State on March 16.
