Spend enough time in downtown Charleston (particularly on King Street) and you'll sooner or later stumble across a man singing opera streetside.

While we've known a bit about 32-year-old Richard Blakeney for some time, nothing extensive has been written on him in recent memory (at least that I'm aware of.) Well, when Post and Courier columnist Ken Burger stumbled on the man, he had to know more, and while he hasn't written a lot on Blakeney it's the most I've seen.
