Please join us for an artist reception on Thursday, September 22nd at the Jericho offices for our newest exhibition of photography by Sandy Logan.

Sandy says of his work:

“Outside the City, where the misused and the unused sit quietly with each other, the camera is free to track through the dust for some evidence of their former lives of industry, of commerce, of anything but this present silence.

Every once in a while, these quiet bodies catch the light and show a small self-conscious moment from their former might.  Their pure texture and shape merge with the light to borrow a small moment writ large. 

What my camera captures are these abstractions of lost purpose, their motion stilled, their forms faded, finding an ugly beauty in their urban decay.”

It's sure to be a terrific event, and our first of a series of independent artist exhibitions in the new space.
