Breaking news on the Charleston Fashion Week front: Headphones designed by Dr. Dre and Lady Gaga will be featured in the CFW Style Lounge, and Orlando Jones’ Gangstir Rock has been added to CFW’s Wednesday night lineup.

Charleston Magazine's resident fashionista and style blogger Ayoka Lucas penned this article about the additions to the CFW lineup:

With Charleston Fashion Week (CFW) quickly approaching, the layers of events just keep stacking up, and we are excited to announce some new additions to the already fashion-packed week ahead. In the Glam Rocks! Style Lounge & Bar, Monster Beats by Dr. Dre will be joining the array of accessory designers, the Stella Nova beauty touch-up booth, and our DJs to present their innovative headphones, including Heartbeats by Lady Gaga, which she designed to look, of course, like no other. The Monster Beats collection will also be featured during Wednesday night’s Sucker jeans runway presentation, which has recently been extended to include five looks by Orlando Jones’ Gangstir Rock line. Raised in South Carolina and educated at the College of Charleston, Jones is a successful actor and comedian and has starred in such movies as The Replacements, Drumline, Office Space, and The Time Machine, as well as the hit comedy show MadTV. Named after the band, GSR, Gangstir Rock is a refined rock ’n’ roll clothing line for men. As we countdown the days, surprise guests will continue to be revealed. So purchase your tickets now for what is set to be the biggest, most dynamic CFW yet!
