Update June 28: The Post and Courier went to the service and share a decent story and photo gallery.
First reporting:
Hundreds turned out to pay their respects during the wake for Philip Simmons on Friday, June 26, at the Gaillard Auditorium.
The Post and Courier was there and has a story from the solemn, but lively event. Go read about it, and do take a look at the photo gallery.
Also, Simmon's public funeral and procession is scheduled for 11 a.m. today. The paper also has the details on that in their story.
