Spoleto and Piccolo reviews thus far

Update May 25: Check out our updated review information page.

In years past The Post and Courier and Charleston City Paper would always battle each other out in grading and reviewing Spoleto and Piccolo performances, however thanks to some staff cutting at the ol' P&C the City Paper is running out way in front.

Get more coverage in our Spoleto special section. To that effect, the arts paper has put together a nice rundown of the performance reviews thus far -- and though we're only starting the three-week festival, many performances are already well through their runs.

Go take a peak at their narrative, or just dive into the reviews.

So far my intrigue's been captured by Story of a Rabbit and Mary Kay Has a Posse -- a performance which we just did a video on.

Of course, I should note that The Post and Courier's not without any coverage, for starters they point out that the Lowcountry staple of "The Complete History of Charleston for Morons" is as good as always.
