A photographer and pilot took to the skies in a small plane and grabbed some great views of Charleston.

Well, Charleston Magazine got together with the authors and has put up some really great samples for view. Go check them out.

The photographs are part of the book "Charleston from Above," available for $30, published in 2007. There's also the slightly more regional "Lowcountry Aloft" available for $25, it was published in 2003.
