Savannah Rusher and Anna Kate Lister, founders of Surcee Press, hope to show homage to that "special" side of Charleston that isn't typically noticeable to tourists--that side that only the locals know about.

Surcee Press's new project is called New Guide to Charleston, and its goal is to reveal the most quirky and unique spots and features of the Holy City. Surcee Press's first project will serve as a memoir or time capsule, as it draws together thoughts from locals on how they have been inspired by our great city.

The Charleston City Paper has more information about Surcee Press's first project, as well as quotes from their founders; check it out here.
