Joe Pasta's management has snatched the second floor space above the Italian centric eatery and plans to morph it into a new hot spot called Upstairs and Joe Pasta.

The plan is to continue to host DJs and live bands, much like it's predecessor, The Black Cart.

There isn't too much information out there regarding the switch, but the Charleston City Paper has everything you need to know, including the upcoming electronic show scheduled for November 28th.
