Update September 7:

The Post and Courier has followed up and created a nice narrative around the donation and its impact on the organization, which is looking to raise $300,000 more for a matching grant. The paper also cites how demand on the organization has been jumping as the economy has faltered.

Hop over to the paper to take a read.

First reporting:

Lowcountry Food Bank's Growing Forward Campaign received a very generous grant from the Wachovia Wells Fargo Foundation today, September 2.

How generous? $100,000 worth.

The Post and Courier has the story.
