East Bay Crab Shack closes up shop and makes way for a new restaurant

The East Bay Crab Shack shut down on Tuesday, but what's more interesting than the closure is the group of high-profile names taking over the space.

Hop over to The Post and Courier to get the story.

That stretch of East Bay already has about a dozen mid- to high-end restaurants, it'd be great if they were doing something a bit more innovative and affordable, but that seems unlikely.

The building is at 205 East Bay Street in downtown Charleston. The restaurant still has three other local locations in West Ashley, North Charleston, and Folly Beach.
