Outflanked by surging median home values in the nation's most expensive ZIP codes, Sullivan's Island is now merely the 91st most expensive ZIP code in the nation.

To be sure, its median home price had fallen from last year's 24th place $1.8 million price to pesky $1.7.

Isle of Palms and Charleston were South Carolina's next cities due for some love by the list, ranking at 213 and 279, respectively.

And, yes, there are all sorts of problems with how the ranking uses ZIP codes and how that unfairly lowers the grade of larger ZIP codes. But if you don't take it too seriously and we think you'll live.
