McLeod Plantation is back on the market (update: James Island is looking to buy)

Update April 28:
The town of James Island is attempting to acquire McLeod Plantation through despite the fact that the plantation is located within the city of Charleston.
The Post and Courier has a brief bit on the proposal, but promises more in tomorrow's edition.
First reporting:
After a previous plan to sell the property to the College of Charleston fell through, the Historic Charleston Foundation has begun the formal process of seeking a new buyer for James Island's McLeod Plantation.
