Blackbaud CEO to step down at end of the year

After seven years at the helm of the Charleston-based software company, Blackbaud, President and CEO Marc Chardon has announced he will be stepping down at the end of 2013.

According to a release from the Associated Press:

Chardon intends to pursue business interests advising and investing in technology startups and devote more time to the philanthropic community after he leaves Blackbaud.
