The annual conference of the Southeastern United States-Canadian Provinces Alliance (SEUS-CP) is heading to the beach for the first time.
On May 20-22 2012 the conference will be held at the Marriott -Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach. This years conference is happening right now in New Brunswick, Canada and is being hosted by Premier David Alward and Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour. The aim of the conference is to bring more business to the Grand Strand and show that we are much more than a place to vacation.
It's no secret that Canadian's love them some Myrtle Beach and we're sure they would jump at the idea to bring a branch of their businesses here just for the chance to live and play here all year round. Just what is the SEUS-CP?
The Southeastern United States – Canadian Provinces Alliance (SEUS-CP) is a strategic partnership between states in the southeastern United States and member provinces from Canada. The alliance works to promote trade and investment opportunities between and among its member states and provinces. Member states include Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Member provinces include Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island and Quebec.
