To Achieve its 15th Consecutive
“Elite of Lexus” Honor
Charleston, SC – June 1, 2011 – Employees became the stars of the evening as Lexus of Charleston recently commemorated a national honor it has earned for the fifteenth consecutive year.
During a celebration dinner May 28, Lexus of Charleston recognized its 69-member employee team for earning the prestigious Elite of Lexus designation, an honor it has achieved each year since 1996.
The award is presented annually to dealers that excel at sales, service and overall owner support. Lexus of Charleston is the only Lexus dealer in the state of South Carolina to earn the award 15 years in a row.
Elite of Lexus criteria are based on customer surveys that rate the dealership’s sales and service as exceptional, plus rigorous Lexus operational and certification standards.

“This honor goes to our employees for their professionalism, personal commitment and willingness to go the extra mile to make the customer’s experience a special one,” said Lexus of Charleston General Manager and Vice President David Yarborough. “While all 228 Lexus dealerships strive to attain Elite status, very few have earned it for fifteen consecutive years. We continue to receive this honor because so many of our current and past customers have acknowledged their satisfaction with our service and attention to detail.”
Lexus of Charleston recognized 42 employees for earning the Master, Senior and Certified designations based on Lexus training and testing of product knowledge.
In addition was the recognition of Raymond Rhett II for accomplishing the prestigious award of Salesman of the Year for 2010. Robert Lazzaro, a Master certified technician, was awarded Lexus of Charleston’s Most Valuable Player award. The award is presented to the team member who exemplifies leadership, determination and exceeds all requirements for Lexus.
