Charleston Wavefest Coming to Riverfront Park October 2015

Vive Le Rock Productions has announced Charleston Wavefest will be Oct. 3, 2015, featuring musical acts and an interactive art element. The full-day festival will be at Riverfront Park at the old Navy Base in North Charleston.

Simon Cantlon, producer at Vive Le Rock Productions, announced the details for the 2015 musical festival at a Mini-Wavefest last weekend at Awendaw Green featuring musical performances by Avi Jacobs, Jordan Igoe and Asheville's Pierce Edens as well as the puppetry of Mr. Bonetangles by Will Schutze.

Charleston Wavefest will benefit Lowcountry AIDS Services, a nonprofit organization serving men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS in Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties.

Charleston Wavefest 2015 will feature live music from local, regional and national entertainers as well as an interactive art element. Charleston Wavefest will also be supporting the best of everything local through food, beverages, merchants and more.

Bands will perform non-stop on three stages. The festival is also in partnership with Eddie White and his Barn Jam at Awendaw Green, who will be developing and producing the second stage at the festival.
