Update, February 8, 2012:  More details have been released about the event.

It will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 7 p.m. at the Sheraton Convention Center Hotel.  Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. and the program begins at 8 p.m.  Individual tickets are $100 and can be purchased by calling (843) 488-2769 (ext. 27).

First report, January 6, 2012:  The Salvation Army of Horry County announced its first annual Roast on the Coast fund raising event yesterday, January 5, 2012. This "Toasting and Roasting" of former CCU football coach David Bennett will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at the Sheraton Convention Center Hotel.
