Free "Exploring Charleston SC" mobile app launched

A new and free Charleston iPhone/iPad/Android app has been released by Traveler of Charleston Magazine titled "Exploring Charleston SCwhich is available for download on both iTunes and Google Play.

The app proves to be useful by both locals and visitors and uses the latest GPS technology to detect nearby attractions, ATMs, parking locations and more. Each business, attraction or landmark on the app includes detailed information such as click-to-call, website and videos. It's currently ranked No. 1 by iTunes and No. 2 by Google Play for the search term "Charleston SC."

Traveler of Charleston magazine is locally owned, and was founded in 2005 by Keith Simmons. The magazine prints 100,000 copies on a quarterly schedule for an annual total of 400,000 copies. It is distributed at all hotels, visitor centers, resorts, beach rentals, kiosks at the airport, all Piggly Wiggly, Harris Teeter and CVS locations in Charleston County and many other high-traffic locations throughout the region.
