Update August 2: Great-grandmother Geneva Roper Johnson waived her right to a preliminary hearing after being charged with two counts of unlawful conduct toward a child.

Her bail has also been reduced from $50,000 to $10,000. Johnson's lawyer, Lionel Lofton, sought a reduction in bail to save the great-grandmother's family some money.
