New sketch of alleged carjacker, rapist released to public

A new sketch has been released of the suspect involved in a carjacking and rape that occurred May 23rd.

The attack happened at approximately 3 p.m. in the parking lot of West Ashley Primary Care (Ashley Crossing Drive). The victim reported that a man forced himself into her car and ordered her to drive to a vacant house on Sunnyvale Avenue, where he then sexually assaulted her.

The suspect has been described as black, between 20 and 29 years old, 5'7"-5'8" with a medium build. He has large gaps between his front teeth, is balding, and has a scruffy beard. He was last seen on foot near West Ashley Primary Care wearing black pants and a red shirt.
