First Report March 1st: The 5th annual Trio Dinner is planned again for 6:30 p.m. on April 16, 2012 at the Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center Hotel.
The event pairs some of the Grand Strand's best executive chefs with two culinary arts students, one from Horry Georgetown Technical College, and the other from the Academy of Technology and Academics. Together they will create an amazing menu and also have the opportunity to enter one course into the "Best Dish" and "People's Choice" competitions.
Along with with a world class dinner, the night also includes a silent auction of donated goods and services. Entertainment will be provided by Coastal Carolina University's After Hours Jazz Ensemble.
Tickets are $85 per person with a discount available for multi-ticket orders. Proceeds from ticket sales benefit the Myrtle Beach Area Hospital Association's scholarship funds for culinary and hospital education.
