North Myrtle Beach Elementary has recovered after recent storms caused power outages and a couple of small fires.

On Wednesday, a transformer near the school caught on fire and caused a loss of power on Tuesday. The Sun News had a brief write-up on that. Then on Wednesday, a fire started at an electrical panel inside the school and classes were once again cancelled. WBTW has reported that everything has resumed back to a normal schedule today. Read more here.
