We told you back in April that North Myrtle Beach's "Music on Main" concert series was returning for the 2011 summer season; now they've added another "Music on Main" monthly concert.

While the original series takes place the first Thursday of each month, the city has added an additional concert on the fourth Thursday of each month. This brings the total of free monthly events organized by North Myrtle Beach to four; Three concerts and one movie each month during the summer season.

This Thursday, August 25th, 2011, you can check out Gold Rush, a southern rock band, at the horseshoe in North Myrtle Beach from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. weather permitting. You can keep up to date on the event with the Recreation Department's weather hotline at (843) 280-5584 or on their Facebook. Don't forget to bring a chair!
