Mother's Day is on Sunday, May 13, 2012.  Friendly reminder - that's just a few days away.  What are you doing to make Mom feel special?  Here are a few options in and around the Grand Strand.

Medieval Times on Myrtle Beach is offering a free ticket to all moms for their shows, Friday to Sunday, this weekend only.  There must be one full-price adult admission per mom and when purchasing your tickets, you must reference code MFWEB.  You can read more about the deal on the Medieval Times site.

MyrtleBeachRestaurantNews.com has a growing list of restaurants with special Mother's Day menus.  Locations span all parts of the area and offer a variety of experiences.

Myrtle Beach Mom*tastic magazine is sponsoring a Mother's Day contest that will award one lucky mom a prize package worth over $1000.  It boasts a $100 gift card to Travinia Italian Kitchen, movie tickets, a session and photo/digital image package with photographer Erin Dietrich, a makeover, and organizing session.  Read more here for details about the prizes and instructions on how to enter.

If Mom loves baseball, the Myrtle Beach Pelicans are playing the Salem Red Sox at 3:05 p.m.  There will be a Mother's Day celebration at the game and you can purchase tickets online or at the box office.

It's Darlington Raceway's Nationwide and Sprint Cup weekend.  If horsepower makes your mom tick, you can purchase tickets online.
