Entertainer Bill Murray, a co-owner of the Charleston RiverDogs, and his wife are apparently getting a divorce. Jennifer Murray, who owns a home on Sullivan's Island and lives there with the couple's four children, filed a divorce lawsuit in Charleston County Family Court on May 12. The couple have been married since 1997.

The lawsuit accuses the entertainer of "adultery, addiction to marijuana and alcohol, abusive behavior, physical abuse, sexual addictions and frequent abandonment."

Jennifer Murray also seeks a restraining order barring Bill Murray from her Sullivan's Island home and asks the court to determine if the couple's premarital agreement is valid and enforceable.

If the marriage is dissolved and the 23-page premarital agreement is made a part of the order, Bill Murray agrees to pay Jennifer Murray $7 million, according to a copy of the agreement accompanying the complaint.

"We cannot comment on the facts of the case," the actor's lawyer, John McDougall, said Thursday. "I can say that Bill Murray is deeply saddened by the break-up of his marriage to Jennifer. They remain loving parents, committed to the best interest of their children. And Mr. Murray asks the public respect his family's privacy at this difficult time."
