Charleston comes out to play in a big way this weekend

What do you get you mix the Second annual Charleston Pride Festival, the First Flush Festival, Charleston Harborfest, and Charleston Bike Fest? Answer: one hell of a weekend.

Charleston Pride is back with a Pride drag pageant at the American Theater on Friday, May 13th; a big old parade on Saturday afternoon; and an after-party at 10 Storehouse Row later that night. Come out and support equal rights for all and have a gay old time!

Venture toward East Bay and Calhoun in downtown Charleston this weekend and you can't miss it: The Charleston Harborfest. Tall ships, cannons, pirates, cruises; it's all there.

Charleston Bike Fest rolls into town this weekend, so get ready to see some gnarly motorcycles. Market Street Saloon is celebrating all weekend long, and for a full schedule of events, check this out.

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals are headlining the 5th annual First Flush Festival on Sunday at the Charleston Tea Plantation.

The Ashley River will become the play place for four-foot dragon boats and their 20-person crews this Saturday during the 4th Annual Charleston Dragon Boat Festival.

On Friday evening, the Charleston Battery will host expansion USL PRO side FC New York on their home turf at Blackbaud Stadium.
