Why spend the money if you don’t have to? There are plenty of things going on this week in Charleston that you can do for free.

The Charleston Parks Conservancy is celebrating all things parks with its second annual Park Week. The Conservancy will host free events in various Charleston parks May 9-13. Go on and have a look at the scheduled workshops and activities.

The free-ness doesn't end with Park Week. Movies in Marion Square wraps up this week with a free screening of Charleston Pride on Saturday. There a slew of art shows and much, much more.
