The Friends of the Charleston County Public Library are holding a big book, DVD and CD sale at the Gaillard Municipal Auditorium from Friday, October 7th through the Sunday the 9th.

More than 60,000 items will be available with prices starting at $1 at the Big Book Sale. Cash, credit and checks are all acceptable forms of payment at the sale.

Sale hours will be as follows:

• Friday, October 7 from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. 
• Saturday, October 8 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. 
• Sunday, October 9 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. (half-price on Sunday)

Swing on by the Gailliard Auditorium, located at 77 Calhoun Street next weekend and scour the shelves -- who knows what you might find? 

There's also a Friends of the Library member preview party tonight, October 6, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. New members welcome to join at the door with cash, credit, or checks.
