When I work with any material I consistently try to develop new techniques. The pleasure for me is not the finished product, instead the process that yields a new treatment in the presence of a potential mistake. I'd like to remind my audience of a specific moment or personal discovery, akin to catching their first fish or finding a living sand dollar. The details allow me to establish a relationship between materials and experience.
