Book-signing mania: Two dozen authors come together

If you own a book, chances are you can get it signed -- OK, well there won't be that many authors at the event, but "two dozen best-selling authors, alumni and professors from the College of Charleston" will be at the College of Charleston's Street Fair Celebration during Family Weekend on George Street on Saturday October 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Here's the full list of attending authors and the work's they'll be signing (though, I'm betting if you ask them nicely they'll sign some of their other works too), according to a press release:
Best-seller and College of Charleston Professor Bret Lott will be signing "A Stranger’s House," "The Man Who Owned Vermont," "Ancient Highway," "The Hunt Club," "Eyes to See," and "Jewel."

Best-seller Dick Cote will be signing "City of Heroes," "Mary’s World," "Dolly Madison," "Theodosa Burr Alston," and "Redneck Riviera."

Well-known author Nathalie Dupree who wrote "Southern Memories," "Shrimp and Grits," "New Southern Cooking," and "Comfortable Entertaining."

Alumnus Doug Bostick will be signing "Boathouse: Tales from a Southern Kitchen," "Memorializing Robert E. Lee," "Secession to Siege," "Morris Island," "On the Even of Charleston Renaissance," and "Brief History of James Island."

Alumni Ackerly Bonstelle & Geordie Buxton will be signing "Haunted Plantations" and "James Island, South Carolina."

Alumna Liz Tucker will be singing "Pigs on the Patio."

Professor Anthony Varallo will be signing "Out Loud" and "This Day in History."

Jerry & Roy Caines will be signing "Caines Family Tradition."

Katina Strauch will be singing "College of Charleston, South Carolina" and "Ashley Hall."

Daniel Crooks will be signing "Charleston Trial."

Allen Harrell will be signing "Cross Roads of Hell Hole."

Marjory Wentworth will be signing "Noticing Eden," "Despite Gravity" and "What the Water Gives Me."

Margie Clary will be signing "Guallah Alphabet."

Nicole Seitz will be singing "Trouble the Water" and "Spirit of Sweetgrass."

Jack McCray will be signing "Charleston Jazz."

Bob Thames & Andie Weathers will be signing "Hermy the Hermit Crab: The Adventures" and "Hermy the Hermit Crab Goes Shopping."

Peg Eastman will be signing "Godly Glimpses."

Mike Coker will be signing "Charleston Curiosities."

Damon Fordham will be signing "True Stories of Black South Carolina."
