Barter Theatre's 'Civil War Voices' to help celebrate the state's 150th Civil War Commemoration in Charleston.

Seven performances of the production will take place at Memminger Auditorium at 56 Beaufain Street from April 8th through the 12th.

The play focuses on five individuals that are affected by the Civil War. Playwright James R. Harris wrote the play after finding his great, great uncle's diary. After a wealth of research looking into other personal recollections of the Civil War, Harris emerged with the musical Civil War Voices.
