Free Craft Swap to support Sangaree Middle School

Craft Happy

Celebrating the one year anniversary of operating in historic downtown Summerville, locally-owned Craft Happy will be hosting a free craft swap party on Friday, October 1st, starting at 6pm.

The craft swap is designed to help people clean out their sewing rooms, scrapbooking tables, and crafty corners at home. Participants are asked to bring a bag of craft items no longer wanted. These items will be swapped with other items brought by other participants. Local professional organizer Tracey Freeman will be speaking about ways to stay organized at home, and the talented ladies of Charleston Craft Bee will offer assistance and ideas for what to do with the new-to-you goods. Food and beverages will be provided.

All items left over at the end of the craft swap will be donated to the art department at Sangaree Middle School.

This event is free and open to all ages. Please bring a bag of craft items no longer wanted (no trash please), and prepare to have a great time while helping out a great cause!

The craft swap party will be held at the Craft Happy studio, 114B East Richardson Avenue, above Dolittle’s, in downtown Summerville.
