Local celebration honors women making a difference; And there's free wine, nibbles

The local "giving circle," Women Making a Difference, are hosting an awards ceremony tonight. The event is from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Historic Rice Mill on Lockwood Boulevard.
It is open to the public and free of charge, and Tracey Amick of Live 5 News will be presenting women and children with awards. The event is part of Lowcountry Philanthropy Week.
