The New Music Collective of Charleston, South Carolina is proud to present a ten-year conspectus of music by Los Angeles-based composer Michael Pisaro.

The project, curated by composers Jason Brogan and Sam Sfirri and performed by the New Music Collective with Michael Pisaro and percussionist Greg Stuart, will take place over the course of three days, in three locations within South Carolina: Charleston, Columbia, and Pickens.

September 19th will feature a sound installation accompanied by a free performance at 3 p.m., a discussion with the composer at 6:30 p.m., and a formal concert at 8 p.m. for just $10. It's all happening in the Circular Congregational Church located in downtown Charleston at 150 Meeting Street.

Mr. Pisaro is a member of the Wandelweiser Composers Ensemble and is currently on faculty at CalArts. His music has been played all over the world, and this will present a small, but important, part of his continuing work in a series of installations and concerts in the state of South Carolina.
