I followed the uplifting quotes and directional arrows to the 3rd floor showroom and was greeted with nothing but friendly and empowering vibes at the Lululemon Athletica Grand Opening this morning.

Yoga-wear and active lifestyle powerhouse, Lululemon Athletica, is finally making a presence in Charleston. It may not be a full-blown store, but their showroom at 237 King Street is sure to get you fully outfitted for any activity on your radar. The staff has immersed themselves in all of the studios around town in preparation for their Grand Opening weekend starting today until 5 p.m., continuing Friday from 11 a.m. through 5 p.m.

In true Lulu style, the showroom will provide not only top-quality and comfortable active wear, but also free community classes and workshops that take place in-store put on by local “ambassadors” and instructors. The store will also provide anything from private shopping parties and bachelorette parties to personal goal setting; they are your liaison to wellness. (A focus on community and local? I think they will fit right in.)

The first class kicks off this Saturday with a yoga class from 10 to 11 a.m. with the official opening of the store to follow. So plan to get your sweat on, this store is sure to get you motivated and movin’.
