Update January 25: Preview has done an overview of the upcoming event and talks much about the artist of the night, Kevin E. Taylor, noting among other things that he's a Charleston native; read the preview here.

First reporting: Eye Level Art and Iverson Catering are teeming up for a new Dinner Series dubbed "Fork and Brush." The series will kick off to complement Kevin E. Taylor’s solo show.

I just hope you can hold you appetite for a bit as the meals won't flow until Wednesday, January 27.

Here's details from an e-mailed release:

Eye Level Art joins forces with Iverson Catering to present Fork and Brush, an intimate dinner series featuring fare inspired by the gallery’s contemporary exhibits.

The inaugural dinner will be served at the 103 Gallery on January 27, drawing inspiration from Kevin E. Taylor’s solo show, which opens at the gallery the following evening. The dinner will celebrate Taylor’s work while also highlighting the importance of the culinary arts in the ever-evolving contemporary art scene.

Iverson Catering is a premier upscale dining service catering to the boutique markets of Charleston and Park City, Utah, and has satisfied palettes worldwide at varied events including the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece, and several appearances at the renown Sundance Film Festival. The second collaborative dinner is slated for late February, in correlation with February 26 opening of the gallery’s first graffiti show.

Looks like they're being shy on the event's price, but I'm sure we'll know ticketing details as we get closer.

Oh, by the way, there's a ton of stuff going on at Eye Level Art in the coming weeks. Get the details on their Web site.
