Top Chef casting call at this year's Charleston Wine + Food Festival (update: dream team?)

Update February 26, dream team: Stephanie Barna over at the Charleston City Paper has assembled her own Charleston dream team of who should come out for the Top Chef and Top Chef: Just Desserts casting call.

Who wouldn't want to see Sean Brock or Mike Lata working magic on Top Chef?

Go take a full gander at her list of rising and risen Charleston talent.

First reporting, February 9: On Friday, March 4, Charleston will join the likes of eight other larger cities across the nation when Bravo's "Top Chef" makes a casting call stop for season 9 (they'll also be recruiting for "Top Chef: Just Desserts" season 2.)

That's right, this ones for all you aspiring Charleston and Lowcountry chefs. 

Here's the deal, they'll be at the BB&T Charleston Wine + Food Festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and are "looking for chefs with a passion for food, ingenuity, a thorough knowledge of cooking techniques and trends, and oodles of charisma. We want talented, experienced chefs with that flare and hunger that puts you over the top."

If that sounds like you, you'll need to fill out this application and produce a video ASAP.
