Clearly your help is needed here. Proceed with caution.

Are you ready for the zombie apocalypse? Get prepared by playing the live action shooting game called Modern Warfare: Zombies at The X Sports Center and help a couple of good causes at the same time.

Inspired by the Call Of Duty video game (more specifically the Zombie survival mode), Myrtle Beach local Chad Rockholt has built what is sure to be a unique experience. I wasn't entirely clear on if Modern Warfare: Zombies was a video game tournament or something else. Chad was busy putting up the final touches for opening night, but I had a chance to get clarification. It turns out it's more of a interactive haunted house that any adult should be able to play. They've made it pretty clear this is a mature experience not intended for young children. "You are given a laser gun and you will go from room to room shooting zombies. The computer keeps track of your hits and 'kills'. After you play through, you will get a print out with your statistics for that game." It's running on the pretty cool looking Hi-Tech laser system.

The experience opens tonight at 5 p.m. and will run every weekend (Thursday-Sunday) until November 5th. The cost to play is $15 per person and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the SOS Healthcare Clinic for autistic children and the Horry County Schools theater programs.  They have an informative poster here.

The Modern Warfare: Zombies Facebook page has been active with rolling updates of the progress and there's all kinds of crazy stuff on their website.
