Redux Contemporary Art Center is hosting the day-long Fr3sh Portrait Battle on Saturday, January 15th, from 10 a.m. till 10 p.m.

This event features 24 competing artists (listed in the art above) who go head to head in a competition to see whose portraits are best. Artists will be randomly paired and will have two hours to produce a portrait of one another. Four rounds separated by 30-minute breaks for judging will narrow down the field to an overall portrait victor.

Contestants will be competing for a $500 grand prize, champion's belt, and the title of Fr3sh Portrait Battle Champion.

Anyone interested in watching the marathon portrait event is encouraged to stop by for any and all stages of the contest. Art, beer, and wine will be sold by Fr3shArt to support this event. Music will be provided by Cassidy and The Kid from 6 to 10 p.m.
