A Charleston Symphony and gospel tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr.

Following today's 11 a.m. parade, a musical tribute will be held to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The Charleston Symphony Orchestra will combine with its Gospel Choir and Chorus to celebrate the man's life and legacy -- by using music.

The event is at 4 p.m. on Monday, January 18, at the Gaillard Auditorium at 77 Calhoun Street. Tickets are $10 ($5 students) and can be bought over here.

A hat tip to Charleston Magazine for spotting this.
