The Halsey Institute will present the documentary, 'Full Battle Rattle' on Friday, February 27, to commemorate the expiration of the powerful photography exhibit: War on Terror: Inside / Out.

Here's a bit about the movie from an emailed press release:
Full Battle Rattle takes place in California’s Mojave Desert where the U.S. Army has built a billion dollar mock-up of thirteen Iraqi villages. The documentary focuses on one of these simulated villages, Medina Wasl, and its mixed inhabitants of American soldiers and role-playing Arabic-speaking Iraqi-Americans…The film follows the Army’s 5-82 Battalion as they attempt to quell an insurgency and prevent the mock village of Medina Wasl from slipping into civil war.

So, head over to the Simons Center for the Arts at the College of Charleston on Friday, February 27 at 8 p.m. to observe this film that honors those brave soldiers around the globe fighting for us.

The 27th is also the last day for the photography exhibit.
