This Sunday, Boone Hall Plantation is hosting their annual BBQ and Bluegrass Festival that will make for the ultimate Sunday Funday this Labor Day Weekend.

The day will be filled with live music courtesy of the Grammy Award winning the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band along with The Dillards Bluegrass Band and Homeboy Reunion Bluegrass Band. The popular Mechanical Bull Riding Contest will be back, and work on that throwing arm so you can douse some local radio and TV personalities in the celebrity dunking booth.

As for the BBQ portion of the day, locals and amateurs are invited to show-off their talents in a a barbecue competition. As a special treat this year, BBQ guru Jimmy Hagood of Blackjack BBQ will be demonstrating "How To Cook Great BBQ" for the first time in festival history.

Delicious barbeque will be sold, so come hungry and bring a bib.

Tickets range from $8 to $20 in advance, and will jump up to $25 at the gate.
