A free concert on Daniel Island's Smythe Park - and a prize to the best picnic

Like outdoors, orchestras, picnics, and prizes?
Well come out to the Concert in the Park on Saturday, May 15, as the annual event returns to Daniel Island’s Smythe Park.
The free concert features Jeremy Davis and the Equinox Jazz Orchestra. Hailing from Savannah, Georgia, Jeremy Davis and his 16 piece orchestra will entertain with music from the likes of Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, Harry Connick Jr. and many more.
And what was that I said about prizes and picnics? The best overall picnic spread will receive a $500 contribution for the Charity of their choice. Picnic judging will begin at 6 p.m. with the concert beginning at 7.
You can also get your food on scene from vendors likes Orlandos Italian Eatery, Et Cetera Gourmet Food Shoppe, and T&T’s Kettle Korn.
