Free lecture series continues tomorrow at The Citadel

Update February 7: Next up from The Citadel's free lecture series is a an evening with distinguished artist, Jonathan Green.

In “A Vision of Low-Country Culture,” Green will present an illustrated talk with a colorful look into the heart of Gullah culture on February 8th at 6:30 p.m.

First reporting: Join The Citadel's Daniel Library Friends on Tuesday, Jaunary 18th, for the opening event of their 2011 Library Lecture Series.

All lectures are free and open to the public. They will also all take place in Bond Hall 165 at 6:30pm.

Tuesday's lecture, “The Lush Gardens of Old Florida,” will be hosted by author and Library Director, Angie LeClercq. LeClercq will provide a flower-filled visit to such historical gardnes as Vizcaya, Ca D'Zem, Bok Tower and Maclay as well as tropical havens, Fairchild and Marie Selby.
