With the anticipation of the holiday shopping season fast approaching, Charleston Mayor Joe Riley will announce Charleston Fashion Week 2011 with a press conference in the heart of Charleston’s boutique district.

The public event will be held Monday, November 22nd at Hampden Clothing (314 King Street) at 2 p.m. The Mayor will highlight the financial impact of the five-night fashion event on the local economy, and the return of The Art Institute of Charleston as the presenting sponsor for the third consecutive year.

In conjunction to the press event and the holiday season, tickets for the fifth annual Charleston Fashion Week, presented by The Art Institute of Charleston will be available online on the 22nd. Nightly tickets for the fashion extravaganza range from $45 - $95, with weekly passes starting at $210. VIP tickets are also available and include guaranteed seating, and a complimentary cocktail.
