Charleston County's Holiday Festival of Lights of lights kicks off tonight, November 15, and runs through January 4.

The event is more than just a three-mile drive with millions of lights and 600 light displays, it's also home to a holiday "train ride," gift shops, sweet shops, and a 50-ton sand sculpture -- made with local sand, of course. There's also a ton of nightly entertainment.

Go get all the details on their Web site, and when you're ready to go, here's a map. The fee to tour the lights is $10 a car.

If you've never been before, The Post and Courier's video promoting last year's festival is a good primer.
