The 2011-2012 season of the Montague Terrace Best of Broadways Series schedule has been announced--and includes the Lowcountry premiere of "Wicked"!

For those of you that have been living under a rock and don't know what Wicked is, here's quick lowdown: the show is based on Gregory Maguire's novel of the same name, which tells the tale of Elphaba, the notorious Wicked Witch of the West...but with a twist.

As someone who has read the book (and its two sequels) and has seen the show, I can tell you all this--you won't want to miss it.

Here's the full schedule:

• November 15-16, 2011 - "In the Heights"
• December 6-8, 2011 - "Mamma Mia!"
• February 1-4, 2012 - "Mary Poppins"
• April 18-29, 2012 - "Wicked"
