At 8 p.m. on Friday, April 1st, the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art at the College of Charleston School of the Arts will present a screening of 'Scrappers'.
This is the sixth and final screening in the current Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Filmmakers. The movie screening will be following up with a Q & A session with co-directors/co-producers Brian Ashby and Ben Kolak.
So waht's the movie about? Scrappers follows the stories of two metal scavengers in Chicago. With the 2008 financial collapse and other extenuating circumstances, these two men struggle to keep their business afloat.
Join in on the fun on April 1st at 8 p.m. in room 309 of the Simons Center for the Arts, 54 St. Philip Street. The event is free and open to the public.
