Tivoli opens its space with 'Groundbreaking'

Art outfit Tivoli, now officially operating under the auspices of the City of Charleston, is opening its doors for the public on June 2nd with the exhibition "Groundbreaking".

Groundbreaking aims to tell the story of the Tivoli, serving up a combination of art, objects, personal confession, and atmosphere.

For the past two years, Tivoli has been retrofitting an industrial warehouse for creative purposes. Nic Roberts and Lane Huntley have lead the effort that has attract dozens of artists, extending the city's uptown arts district Slightly North of Line.

All ages are  welcome. $5 suggested entry. 652 King Street.
